Privacy policy
Your calculator inputs stay on your device
Every calculation runs in your web browser. The income, balances and other numbers you type are never sent to NorthCalc or anyone else, and they are never put in the page address, so they don’t show up in analytics or your browser history.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and page views. It doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t collect personal data.
We may also use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are useful. It runs in Google Consent Mode: unless you agree to analytics cookies, no analytics cookies are stored, and Google receives only anonymous signals without identifiers.
Advertising
NorthCalc is free because of advertising. When ads are shown, they come from Google AdSense. Before any advertising cookies are set, a consent message lets you accept or decline personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time through the privacy settings link that appears with that message. You can also manage Google ad personalization at Google’s ad settings.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic technical information such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply. We don’t add you to any mailing list.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law, including PIPEDA and Quebec’s Law 25, you can ask what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it. Contact us to do so.
